3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit the site, GitHub processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, and browser and operating system information in order to deliver the website and protect it against abuse.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which GitHub is certified. More information: GitHub Privacy Statement.
4. Contacting us
If you contact us by email, via the contact form or in our Matrix room, we process the information you provide (e.g. name, email address, company, phone number and your message) in order to answer your request. The contact form does not send any data to a server; it only opens your email program with the details you entered.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures (e.g. a demo), and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering requests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete the data once your request has been fully handled, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
5. YouTube video
You can play a YouTube video on the homepage. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The video is only loaded when you click the preview image; before that, no data is sent to YouTube. After the click, a connection to YouTube is established in privacy-enhanced mode. In particular, your IP address and the page you are visiting are transmitted, and YouTube may store information on your device. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
The legal basis is your consent given by clicking the video (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG). It applies only to the current page visit. More information: Google Privacy Policy.

You have the right to access the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR), and to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to it at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
